Cost of Living In Palm Beach Gardens

The cost of living in Palm Beach Gardends has become financially unsustainable for our family. The homeowners taxes are ridiculously high and the homeowners insurance is becoming out of reach for most homeowners. Not to mention that the coverage is terrible. Between the taxes and insurance we are paying about $6,000.00 a year. That is almost equal to the principal and interest on our mortgage!!! All this while the selling price of our house is falling with no end in sight. We love it here, but are going to have to find a cheaper place in Florida to live.

Taxes and cost of living are the reason why I moved here from New York not to mention state tax. Taxes alone in new York are double what I pay here along with quadruple utility costs. I also pay over $6000 here for taxes and insurance and am thrilled! I love it here and find it very affordable.
